Carnival update
Hey everyone, the Carnival update is here! Here’s what’s new:
- 🖼️ Custom profile images – upload your own profile picture
- ⚔️ Talisman max level 250 – push your talismans further than ever
- 🎮 Host mode for custom games – take full control as a host, see all chats, kill any player

🖼️ Custom profile images
You can now upload your own custom profile picture! Show off your personality beyond avatars.
- Upload directly from the app
- Images are AI-moderated for safety
- Requires you to have purchased the profile customization offer
🎮 Host Mode for Custom Games
Custom games just got a whole lot more interesting! With the new Host Mode, the game creator becomes a spectator with god-like powers:
- View all roles right from the start. Streaming? There is a setting to hide roles.
- View all role chats - werewolf, zombie, jailer, warden and private chats
- Kill players directly during the game
- Send message to all players, only dead players, werewolves or private chats!
⚔️ Talisman Max Level 250
Talismans can now be upgraded to level 250 (260 for premium players)!
The upgrade pricing uses a new tiered system:
- Levels 1–100: 100 gold per level
- Levels 101+: +15 gold per level above 100
Also talisman skins got an overhaul to match the new levels.
✨ More Improvements
- Calendar bulk open - the new open all button lets you batch-open all your calendar rewards at once.
- Show default avatars setting - option to display default avatars instead of custom ones
- Auto-expanding chat input - the chat box now grows as you type longer messages
- Soulbinder overlay notification - a visual overlay now appears when you’re bound by Soulbinder, similar to being sected
- High-res role icons - higher resolution icons on role reveal
- Inventory filter cleanup - the tag dropdown now only shows calendars and battle passes you actually own
- Blocked players can’t join your custom games - blocked players will get an error when trying to join your lobby
- Favorite emoji reordering - You can now reorder your favorite emojis in the emoji modal.
- More custom game settings - options “skip discussion” and “anonymous players” (previously available in ranked games) can now be enabled in custom games
- Public API - new endpoint
GET /battlePass/season/{seasonNumber}to fetch the battle pass season for a specific season number
We also have a solution coming for mythical cards and event roles. Starting <enter magical date here>, mythical cardholders will be able to attach legendary event cards to their mythical card (upgrading from epic to legendary will be possible outside of events). Equip your mythical card as usual and play with all roles, including the attached event ones.
A note on version 2.7.140: this version includes a major internal framework update which may cause visual glitches - flashes, color shifts, emojis not showing, etc. We’re actively squashing these bugs, so please keep reporting them in Discord!
