Gothic Update
Hey everyone, it’s time for the Gothic update. Here are the big points of what to expect from this update with more details below as always:

🛠️ General QOL
We have made a couple of changes to the app to improve the general experience:
- For the outfit collectors among you, the number of avatar slots has been increased to 48 👗
- You can now add private notes to the profile of other players (only you can see the notes) 📝
- Weekly free advanced roles now automatically claim when you click the icon on the main screen 🎁
- Added the option to equip multiple rose skins. Whenever you send a rose, a random equipped rose skin will be selected 🌹
- Added an in-game button to scroll to the most recent chat message 💬
New Role Releases
We asked what you want and you answered. We are fully releasing 3 roles to everyone this update:
- Shapeshifter: Each night you can kill a player and shapeshift into their role. Informers checking you will see you as the role of the last player you killed.
- Soulbinder: Twice per game, you can bind yourself permanently to another player, even if either of you is dead. You and the bound player share a private chat available during all phases, which remains active even if either of you dies.
- Ferryman: You can talk to the dead during the night. Each night, you may select up to two players to ferry. If a ferried player is killed that night, they will survive and remain active through the next discussion and voting phases. You can extend the life of up to two players using your ability.
And as a first since the release of role cards, Soulbinder will be a new base role with Ferryman being it’s advanced role.
Role QOL
- When blind werewolf
or wolf seer 
selects a player at night, all werewolves will see the overlay for the results - Werewolves can see the votes of other werewolves during shadow’s
ability - The werewolf team will be informed if toxic wolf poison is removed from a player because toxic wolf
was killed - The target of a wolf scribe
ability will be informed that their death has been faked - Siren
now wins when all remaining players are entranced or part of their team (e.g., converted lurker)
Tread carefully
We have added a new crazy game mode called Tread Carefully, a game mode with multiple red ladies, zombies, and some wolves, including a wolf scribe. Getting information is risky, and even deaths aren’t guaranteed to result in useful information due to the wolf scribe. Let us know what you think! 🕵️♂️
Upcoming Battlepass
This update ended up being a little smaller than we wanted to. One of the reasons is that we got caught up adding new things that we didn’t finish in time for the Gothic update. While not fully done yet, we can tease two features of the next battlepass:
🎮 Mini games for dead players ⏳ Time traveler roles
Mini games: Waiting for a game to finish can be boring, especially if you died early. However, there are good reasons to remain in the game. To give dead players a reason to stay, we’re adding mini games that they can play with each other to pass the time. Essentially, this feature will allow a dead player to open a mini game that any other dead player can join, while both players stay in the game and can still interact with the main game as normal. 🎮
Time traveler role(s): Two new roles that we have been working on, the Time Traveler and Time Traveler Wolf. We’re still working out the final details, but the core ability is shared between both roles: They can activate their time travel ability to revert the game back to a previous day, undoing all actions taken by players (kills, ability uses, chat) except for conversions into non-village teams. In an attempt to balance the roles, the village time traveler will have to activate their ability during the night, which will then revert time by a full day at the start of the discussion phase (if they are still alive then), while the time traveler wolf can activate the ability at any time. ⏳
