Veteran Badges
Wolvesville is now 6 years old. What an amazing journey it has been. Thank you for your incredible support ❤️. To celebrate this number with everyone, we have added the veteran badges. To distinguish players who have been active all this time, you will receive one badge for every 365 daily rewards that you have claimed. You can now proudly let everyone in your games know for how long you have been playing. Maybe it will even stop others from killing you night 1.
Underdog village
We all know how games usually go. Information roles boldly claim day one and spread all information they gathered during the night, while the werewolves have to hide and hope no one notices them 🫣. To that we say no more! Now, the boot is on the other paw! In this game-mode, five werewolves face off against a village with two seers and no protection. To help the village not immediately disintegrate into chaos, both last will and private day chat are enabled. Assuming the seers can find someone they trust, they can actually contribute from the shadows. Or is that person whispering information to you in truth a silver-tongued werewolf? 😛 It’s up to you to find out.
Both last will and private day chat will be added to custom games as soon as we have ironed out all kinks. We have also been getting feedback about the role rotation for this game mode. Keep those coming! We are very new to strong werewolf setups and all ideas and feedback are welcome.
New daily challenges
Daily challenges have been around for almost exactly three years now and have grown a little bit… repetitive. 🔁 We have added a bunch of much-needed new challenges:
- Play 2 games with 5 items that have the x tag
- Play 3 game in grid position x (limited to 4 to 16)
- Be alive for a total of 20 days
- Protect 2 players using a role ability
- Level up
- Finish a battle pass tier (if player hasn’t finished bp and owns it)
- Be one of the last 4 players alive
- Play 2/4 games consecutively
- Finish 2 games with a clan member
- Lynch 5 players
- Play 3/2/1 games with a village/werewolf/solo advanced role
- Play 6/3 games with a different village/werewolf role
- Upgrade a role card
In addition, we have rebalanced two existing challenges:
- Give 2 roses bouquets (200xp)
- Survive for 2 games (225xp)
New role: Swamp wolf
As already revealed, swamp wolf has been added as an advanced role of nightmare werewolf:
You have two abilities. Each ability can be used once per game. During the night, you can cast a spell, flooding the village the next day. While the village is flooded, every player can only send a single three letter message. Your second ability allows you to cast a spell on any player during the discussion phase. During the voting phase, three random players will appear to vote for your target. These votes are fake and do not count.
Squ…🫧💧💦
Blocking players
Blocking players has now become more useful. It will continue to mute all in-game messages from a player. Additionally, it will prevent the blocked player from sending you friend requests and gifts. It is now also possible to directly block someone from a friend request, so you no longer have to “hope” to meet that annoying person again in a game to get rid of them. Also, if you “accidentally” blocked one of your “friends”, don’t sweat it, you now have the option to unblock players in our new privacy settings pop-up (the button for it can be found at the top of the friends list).
While Wolvesville is an online game that requires players to interact with each-other, we do understand if everyone needs a little alone time now and then. This new pop-up also includes settings to disable all friend requests, chat messages in friend requests and gifts from players who are not your friends.
Big news for battle pass coins
As some of you might have already noticed, we lied during the last update. The coins from the previous battle-pass did not disappear 🪙. Instead, 50% of all unspent coins were carried over to the new season. We still encourage you to spend them for the ongoing season, but at least they won’t be completely wasted if you can’t find anything to tickle your fancy.
Other stuff
- Players playing Wolvesville on steam will now get a special item at the end of the next game. If you’re a steam player, all (positive 🥰) reviews are greatly appreciated!
- It is now possible to mark cards for “destruction”. Don’t worry, they won’t disappear when you do this. Instead, while upgrading a card, you will now have a handy button to use marked cards, as well as another button to use unequipped cards.
- In the inventory, you now have the option to only show hidden items.
- For Austrians with an allergy to the German language, you can now set your game to Austrian 🇦🇹.
- Clan leaders now have the option to enable and disable clan quest participation for all clan members.
- It is now possible to generate new 2FA backup codes.
- Lurker who was attacked by a solo killer now wins 1v1s vs villagers
